Feeling betrayed by Sakuya, who used her Geass to impersonate his deceased brother, Ash leaves her in the containment facility.
Curious about how Sakuya’s Geass works, Scissorman threatens the empress to use it on captured hostages. She tries to barter for their freedom but watches as her people fall one by one.
Still feeling in debt to Jugo Sumeragi, Ash changes his mind and returns to save Sakuya who was moments away from revealing her Geass.
Meanwhile, Neo-Brittania is in the midst of peace talks. The Seven Shining Stars are stumped as interrupting the peace talk would negatively impact their reputations as liberators.
Out of nowhere, foreign mechs have emerged from the ocean and are on a rampage. Indiscriminately killing any and all humans that cross their paths. Nobody knows who they belong to nor where they came from. Thousands of innocent lives will be lost if nothing is done to stop them.
