One Piece episode 1122 recap
Episode 1122 begins with a flashback to Garp’s training days with Koby and Helmeppo. Garp presents a moral dilemma: choosing between an old man and a baby to save.
In the present day, Koby and the marines find themselves in a desperate situation on Beehive Island. Pizarro’s destructive hand threatens to obliterate everything. Garp, though injured, devises a plan, relying on Koby, Grus, and Helmeppo to save the day.
Garp’s resolve inspires Koby, who, despite his fears, gathers the courage to confront Pizarro. A flashback reveals Koby’s secret training, a testament to his determination.
Koby’s decisive attack, the Honesty Impact, turns the tide, destroying Pizarro’s hand. Grus’ support ensures the marines’ safety. A hero, Koby returns to the navy ship. Garp, however, makes a selfless decision, choosing to remain on Beehive Island to face Kuzan.
The episode concludes with a poignant parallel to Garp’s earlier moral dilemma. Garp, now the “old man,” sacrifices himself for the younger generation, Koby.
The final scene, with Garp frozen by Kuzan, leaves the audience on a cliffhanger.
