Episode 2 of The Elusive Samurai delivered a brutal blow to Tokiyuki’s world. Separated from his older brother, Kunitoki, Tokiyuki found himself utterly alone.
Thankfully, Kunitoki managed to evade capture and found refuge with their enigmatic uncle, Muneshige Godaiin. While Kunitoki sought safety, Tokiyuki hid in an abandoned building on the outskirts of Kamakura.
Kunitoki’s goal was to reach Yorishige’s territory in Suwa, hoping to find an ally after the Shogunate’s demise.
However, danger lurked even in this supposed safe haven. Mysterious eyes watched Kunitoki’s every move, and he still couldn’t tell who was an enemy or an ally.
The episode ended on a bleak note, heavy with suspicion and despair. Tokiyuki and his companions, still reeling from the recent betrayal, faced a dangerous future.
