Bungie is increasing the power cap by 10 in Destiny 2 Episode Revenant. Here’s how the new power band will look like:
- Power Floor: 1900
- Soft Cap: 1950
- Powerful Cap: 2000
- Hard Cap/ Pinnacle Cap: 2010
As you can see, the soft cap will increase from 1940 to 1950, which means you can reach power level 1950 easily without pursuing any powerful and pinnacle rewards.
How to reach powerful and pinnacle cap in Destiny 2
To reach powerful cap in Destiny 2, you have to gain powerful gear by completing weekly Ritual activities, rotating campaign missions, gunsmith bounties, vendor ranks, and more. You can also open prime engrams to get powerful gear.
Reaching the pinnacle cap can take a while as it’s endgame content. You can get pinnacle gear by completing the weekly exotic quest, dungeon, and raid.
Other ways include scoring 200,000 on Nightfall and 250,000 on Dares of Eternity.
Completing bounties for Zavala, Shaxx, and Drifter are other ways to get pinnacle gear in Destiny 2. Participating in limited-time events like Iron Banner can also get you those.
Lastly, you can increase your power level by 15 via the seasonal artifact. You can complete seasonal challenges to gain XP quickly and get power bonus.
