Guide to best skills in Black Myth Wukong
Best skills in Black Myth Wukong — Black Myth Wukong skill tree
As you level up in Black Myth Wukong, you’ll earn skill points. These can be invested in the Black Myth Wukong skill trees to unlock new skills and abilities.
The game has six types of skill sets, each expanding into multiple Skill Trees.
You can find a complete list of the best skills in Black Myth Wukong below.
Exhilaration
If you’re always running low on health, then you may want to consider investing some points in Exhilaration.
Once unlocked, Exhilaration provides a small amount of health every time you use a Focused point. These points are mainly used to charge heavy attacks, but you’ll be gaining some health as well during the process thanks to the skill.
While it may not be much compared to what other healing items offer, it can still make a big difference when you’re fighting a tough boss like the Black Bear Guai.
Simian Agility
In Black Myth Wukong, you’ll constantly be dodging incoming attacks during combat. However, each dodge consumes stamina, and you can run out of it quickly.
But by unlocking the Simian Agility skill, you can reduce the amount of stamina it takes to dodge an attack. This will make boss fights easier, especially when you’re up against quick enemies like the Guangzhi.
Deft Evasion
After you’ve unlocked the Simian Agility skill, you’ll be able to invest points in Deft Evasion.
Rather than increasing your stamina, this skill allows your character to cover more distance with each dodge. When combined with Simian Agility, you’ll have a powerful combo of enhanced stamina and improved dodge range.
Rampant Vigor
Another skill we’d recommend for combat is Rampant Vigor, which will greatly boost your stamina.
We know, this is the second skill linked to stamina on our list. However, since the game lacks any mechanics for blocking or parrying attacks, your best option is to dodge them.
So, the better your stamina, the higher your chances are of surviving a boss fight.
Evanescence
One of the first spells you’ll learn in Black Myth Wukong is Immobilize. This can make your enemy freeze on the spot for a few seconds, allowing you to land attacks on them without worrying about a counter-attack.
If you unlock the Evanescence skill and pair it with the Immobilize spell, you’ll create a deadly combo.
This is because casting the Immobilize spell just before an attack triggers Evanescence, which keeps the enemy frozen longer while also dealing damage.
However, this will only work if you use the spell at the exact time of the attack.
Force Unbound
Heavy attacks can deal a lot of damage, but they are pretty slow. Also, you can not sprint while charging a heavy attack, which leaves you in a vulnerable spot during a fight.
However, Force Unbound can change this, as it lets your character sprint while charging a heavy attack. This will prevent your enemies from taking advantage of your slow speed.
Robust Constitution
If you want something that can help you stay alive for a longer period, consider investing some points in Robust Constitution.
This skill will increase your maximum health, thanks to which you’ll be able to take more damage in combat.
You should invest a good number of points in this skill at the start of the game, as it will make the early fights easier for you.
Stagnation
Another skill that can be paired with the Immobilize spell is Stagnation.
When unlocked, immobilized enemies will take more damage with each hit than before. On top of that, the duration of the next immobilization effect will also increase.
This can prove to be extremely useful against powerful bosses that don’t provide many openings for you to land an attack.
Mobile Spin
If you’re tired of enemies hitting you with arrows and other projectiles from a distance, then you should unlock the Mobile Spin skill.
Once unlocked, your character will be able to spin his staff while moving, thanks to which all incoming projectiles will get deflected
This will allow you to easily reach the enemy’s spot and take them down before they start firing more projectiles towards you.
Soaring Strike
As you’ll be mostly using light attacks in combat, you need something that can increase their damage output.
For this, you’ll need to unlock the Soaring Strike skill, which temporarily increases the damage of light attacks. However, it can only be activated after sprinting.
