Let’s paint the town blue.
Riot Games and Netflix have released the official Arcane season 2 trailer, offering fans a glimpse into the highly anticipated final chapter of the League of Legends animated series.
The trailer features the track “Paint the Town Blue” by American rapper and singer-songwriter Ashnikko. This song is the first single from the original soundtrack of Arcane season 2, released in partnership with Riot Games and Virgin Music Group.
Set against the backdrop of Jinx’s devastating attack on Piltover’s council, Arcane season 2 explores the escalating tensions between the City of Progress and the City of Iron and Glass, Zaun.
Arcane season 2 trailer teases an all-out war between Piltover and Zaun
The Arcane season 2 trailer reveals that both Piltover and Zaun are gearing up for a major conflict.
In Piltover, Ambessa Medarda, a powerful Noxian warlord and the mother of Piltover council member Mel Medarda, arrives in the city and proposes imposing martial law.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn leads a team on a mission to capture the fugitive Jinx, find any remaining shimmer factories in Zaun, and eliminate those who remain loyal to Silco.
The Arcane season 2 trailer also reveals Jinx with a new look, featuring a cloak and purple hair highlights.
Additionally, we see more of the hooded figure who saved Jayce and his mother in season 1.
We also catch a potential confrontation between Vi and a large, furry creature with sharp claws. This creature is believed to be Vander, the adoptive father of Vi and Powder.
In the trailer, a different form of Vi appears, her face partially obscured by melting makeup and hair as she gazes into a broken mirror.
The trailer concludes with Vi and Ekko joining forces.
