Wrap up Final week of Fortnite World Cup 2019 qualifiers

The process for Fornite World Cup qualifiers got over during week ten. Hence, it is quite obvious that the World Cup will not get going till July 26. However, as and when the matches do happen and the world cup gets going in full steam, there are quite a few good things that one can expect. There will be 49 duo teams that will keenly await the next stage of the competition. It also will see some of the best talents vying with their skills and will do all it takes to qualify. However, it may not be good news for all the teams and players. Some players and favorites of many fans will not be able to make it and will most probably miss the cut. It will all be left to a handful of teams that have done exceedingly well and stood out from the rest of the crowd.

How Did The Last Week Go

As is the case with other qualification and knockout matches, the 10th week saw the teams getting ready for the final games. Each and every match and everything that was done in the final matches did matter quite a bit. This was because of the simple reason that these teams were vying for the top three spots. As far as New York City was concerned, Vinny1x Gilgan and ZexRow Colandro took their respective spots. ZexRow’s feat was indeed creditable because he was not fully well. He had to fight against tendinitis during the first few weeks of the World Cup. However, he did not take it lying down and took adequate rest and rehabilitation so that he could be ready for playing the Fornite. ZexRow is certainly a trend-setter and innovator in box-fighting. But he was not able to showcase the best skills because of injuries. But the duo now is a part of the other 48 teams in the Finals.

There Were Some Close Misses Too

It also would be pertinent to mention here that the likes of Slackes and Keys were almost there as far as qualifications was concerned. This has happened number of times, but eventually they lost steam. This was because of 102 point performance during week ten. We also need to bear in mind that Keys has always performed consistently well as far as competitive play was concerned. Whenever the rankings are announced, his name comes up for reckoning in the rankings. On the other hand, Slackes is not a well known performer. But he has managed his way to become a top tier players. It would be pertinent to mention here that the duo has quite a few things going well for them. They move to New York City and there are many who believe a few positive things about these two. They are perhaps maintaining the momentum that is required for them to qualify for the final week.

Hence, at the end of the day, the competition for the top play-off spots for the World Cup has been keenly contested. There were many hits and misses, but in fine, it is quite obvious that the best players in terms of skills, grit, determination and positive frame of mind where the ones who could make the cut.
