Wardell, Subroza and FNS form a new CS:GO team
Two American and three Canadian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players have teamed up to form a new roster named Orgless, which will compete in the qualifiers for the B Site League.
This Saturday, February 2, news surfaced, which unveiled a new CS:GO squad dubbed Orgless. The team will be led by the former Riot Squad and Cloud9 In-Game-Leader Pujan "FNS" Mehta, who will join forces with his two compatriots Matthew "WARDELL" Yu and Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and two American CS:GO pros Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker and Gage "Infinite" Green. The team was announced by Subroza on his official Twitter page.
"Will be playing with FNS, yay, WARDELL and Infinite this year and hopefully qualify for the upcoming LANs/B Site League," read the announcement.
Comprising the new quintet are Subroza and WARDELL, who were both previously linked to the formation of a new Team SoloMid CS:GO roster, which was supposed to be led by Anthony "vanity" Malaspina. Unfortunately the TSM CS:GO project was stalled following the announcement of vanity's departure to Chaos EC. Joining them is former Complexity member yay, while Infinite will round up the lineup, after being released from Chaos earlier on Friday.
The Orgless IGL, FNS has just recently left Riot Squad, shortly after the team achieved their best result, having reached the finals of ESEA MDL Global Challenge, where they lost to forZe (0-2). Before FNS joined Riot Squad, he played for Cloud9, compLexity Gaming, Counter Logic Gaming, Team SoloMid, as well as mouseSpaz and NetcodeGuides.com early in his career. In his six-year-long career as a CS:GO pro, FNS won several tournaments, although most of his achievements came in 2015 and 2016 while he played under CLG.
Subroza started his CS:GO career in 2015 when he joined ANIXIA eSports. He later played for Noble eSports, ACE Gaming, Counter Logic Gaming, FRENCH CANADIANS, District 7, Ghost Gaming, Swole Patrol, Lazarus Esports and Cloud9 as a trial. Since December 2019, Subroza played for Just For Fun alongside WARDELL, competing in various DreamHack Open qualifiers with varying degrees of success. That said, the team won Mythic Cup 5 earlier in January.
WARDELL is a 21-year-old CS:GO player, who started his career in 2017 and has since played for Bee's Money Crew, Ghost Gaming, Rogue, as well as some smaller teams which competed in C-Tier and B-Tier tournaments. His most recent achievement came at WINNERS League – Season 3: North America Invite Division when he played for Swole Patrol and finished second.
Yay on the other side started his professional CS:GO career in 2015 when he joined Team Ignite. In years that followed he played for Mortaily eSports, Team Prospects, Noble eSports, Blight Gaming, VAULT, eUnited, Dethrone, Synthetik Gaming, compLexity Gaming, MASSIVEimpact, Bad News Bears, Lazarus Esports and most recently Swole Patrol. Since he parted ways with Swole Patrol at the end of ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas campaign, he made a brief appearance for Envy at IEM Katowice 2020 open qualifiers and later played for mix-team Call it Luck at NCS Grand Finals 2019 @ Fragadelphia 14 where he finished fifth-sixth.
The fifth member of the new team, Infinite started his venture into the CS:GO scene in 2017 when he joined Lol Yeah. He later played for Royal Flush, CLG Academy, Bushido Boys, Etherian E-Sports, Armada eSports, Team Dignitas, AZIO eSports, SPacestation Gaming, Team Singularity, Bad News Bears, Swole Patrol, Ben's Anime Team and Chaos Esports Club.
Infinite found himself benched from Chaos at the start of 2020, but continued to play CS:GO as a stand-in for eUnited at DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020: North American Qualifier, WINNERS League – Season 3: North America Invite Division and DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020: North American Qualifier. Unfortunately, eUnited failed to secure a ticket for DreamHack Open Anaheim after losing to Complexity in the finals.
"Looking back at my career, this team is exactly what I've been looking for in the past year," said Subroza.
"Everyone has been super dedicated on their own time and are hungry for what's to come."
"We've all tasted the top for a bit and already have chemistry between some of us from past teams. What made this a no-brainer really is the fact we're all friends outside the server and serious when it comes down to the work required."
The team already made an appearance in the competitive CS:GO scene at Americas Minor Championship – Rio 2020: North American Open Qualifier where they fielded Envy rifler Jacob "FugLy" Medina as a stand-in instead of Infinite. The team defeated powerMode (16-7) in round one, but lost to Asuna's Aimers (17-19) in Round of 16, thus lost their chance to secure a spot in the closed qualifiers for the first CS:GO Major of the season.
