Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2024 has brought a new Heavy Burst Arc shotgun called Arcane Embrace, a first of its kind.
Arcane Embrace is immensely powerful, both in PvP and PvE, and can fire a hard-hitting two-round burst. If there’s one Festival of the Lost weapon you need to farm, this one’s it.

In PvE, Arcane Embrace is excellent for taking down elites and bosses, thanks to a large magazine size and perks like Fourth Time’s The Charm and Precision Instrument.

Since it shoots two rounds at a time, Arcane Embrace’s recoil is a bit high compared to other Shotgun archetypes in the game. Hence, it’s best to go with Arrowhead Brake for Barrel to improve this weapon’s Recoil Direction and Handling.
For the Magazine, we recommend Tactical Magazine for larger Magazine size and better Reload Speed and Stability, though Appended Mag isn’t a bad choice either.
Thankfully, for the third and fourth-column traits, there are plenty of solid options to choose from.
Fourth Time’s The Charm and Precision Instruments are our first picks as the former can easily return rounds to the Magazine, while the latter can boost weapon damage.
Alternatively, you can go for Grave Robber and Surrounded, as they provide similar advantages.
For Masterwork, you could go with Stability, Range, or Reload Speed. In PvE, they are all quite important.

Arcane Embrace is an excellent PvP weapon. Whether you deal body shots or headshots, this weapon can annihilate Guardians in a single magazine, granted you have the right perk combinations.

Range is the most important stat in PvP, especially for Shotguns, hence, we recommend Small Bore and Accurized Rounds for significantly improving this weapon’s Range and a bit of Stability.
Like PvE, Arcane Embrace has a bunch of PvP perks to choose from and they are all extremely good.
Slideshot in the third column can easily reload the Magazine and boost Range and Stability. Closing Time provides similar benefits, improving the Range, Accuracy, and Handling of the weapon.
In the fourth column, Threat Detector or Tap the Trigger can improve Stability, though we recommend the latter since its effects are easy to proc.
For Masterwork, Range is, without doubt, the best option.
