Black Ops 6 redefines the camo progression experience by eliminating many of the tedious obstacles that previously slowed players down, providing a smoother and more rewarding camo journey.
Black Ops 6 Multiplayer camo types
Similar to Zombies and Warzone, the BO6 Multiplayer camos are divided into three types:
- Military Camos
- Special Camos
- Mastery Camos
Camo progression starts with the Military Camos, providing players with basic camouflage patterns unlocked through scoring a certain amount of headshots. These earthy, realistic designs set a tactical tone while allowing players to develop their weapon-handling skills.
Advancing from Military to Special Camos, players tackle more challenging objectives to earn vibrant and unique designs that stand out on the battlefield.
The final tier, Mastery Camos, includes elite skins that serve as the ultimate status symbols for players who have conquered every camo challenge for a weapon. These mastery skins feature animated or reflective finishes.

BO6 Multiplayer Special Camos
After unlocking all nine Military Camos for a weapon in your preferred mode, you advance to the Special Camos.
Each weapon has two unique Special Camo designs, crafted specifically for that weapon and accessible only through specific in-game achievements.
