Dragon Ball Daima episode 5 release date marks the continuation of Goku’s perilous journey through the Demon Realm, promising even greater challenges ahead.
Episode 4 ended with Goku, Glorio, and Supreme Kai Shin confronting new dangers and the sudden appearance of a mysterious masked figure whose true intentions remain a mystery.
With King Gomah’s reach spreading in the Demon Realm, and Goku now branded a fugitive, the upcoming episode teases even more high-stakes encounters.

Dragon Ball Daima episode 4 recap
Episode 4, titled Chatty, began with Goku, Glorio, and Supreme Kai Shin forced to continue their journey on foot after their spaceship was stolen at the inn where they had stayed the night before.
The trio briefly flew over parts of the Sea of Darkness. Still, Glorio explained that sustained flight was not a practical option in the Third Demon Realm because of the dense, heavy air—a fact established in the previous episode.
As they traversed the Sea of Darkness, a Demon Realm monster attacked them, but Glorio managed to fend it off. Goku, impressed by Glorio’s prowess, even remarked that he might be stronger than Shin.
Glorio then explained to Goku that the Demon Realm had its own set of Dragon Balls. Unlike Earth’s Dragon Balls, there were only three, and they were considered the originals.
However, these Dragon Balls were fiercely protected by powerful beings known as the Tamagami. While everyone knew the locations of these mystical orbs, none dared to take them because of the Tamagami’s formidable presence.
The group briefly debated whether to prioritize finding the Demon Realm Dragon Balls over rescuing Dende, acknowledging that such a choice might put Dende’s life at greater risk.
Goku suggested that securing the Demon Realm Dragon Balls first could help them regain their original ages before facing the Supreme Demon King to rescue Dende. Alternatively, the group contemplated using the Demon Realm Dragon Balls to save Dende and then returning to Earth to use its Dragon Balls to return everyone to their correct age.
Their journey took them to a welcoming, inn-like residence run by a married couple. Glorio successfully negotiated using one of their Sky Seeds, enabling faster travel across the Sea of Darkness.
The shopkeeper introduced the group to the unique dead bugs of the Demon Realm, which functioned as powerful and versatile consumable items. These bugs provided abilities such as stamina restoration, fire-breathing, and even fusion. Goku eagerly collected these bugs to aid him during their time in the realm.
Using the Sky Seed rocket, the trio moved closer to their destination, which Glorio estimated to be only half a day’s walk away. Upon reaching the nearest town, they witnessed a gathering of its residents.
A military force known as the Gendarmerie had seized control and announced that King Gomah, the new ruler of the Demon Realm, had raised taxes to three gold coins. Those unable to pay would be forced to surrender their life force, shortening their lifespan by nine years.
Goku prepared to intervene but was preempted by the sudden appearance of a mysterious masked figure who tried to stop the Gendarmerie from terrorizing the citizens.
Although her initial attack against the Gendarmerie failed, she managed to escape with Goku’s unexpected assistance. The Z Fighter defeated several members of the Gendarmerie before their overwhelming numbers forced him to make his escape.
Glorio warned Goku that their journey had become more complicated, as he was now a wanted fugitive. The episode concluded with the masked figure tracking down Goku and his companions. She removed her helmet, revealing herself as a Demon Realm female citizen.
