G2 Esports won’t compete with their complete Counter-Strike 2 roster at IEM Dallas 2024 after their in-game leader HooXi was been ruled out. Faker and Jensen’s rivalry in the mid lane dates back to the golden League of Legends ages, where both the players have faced each other many times, leading to only one outcome—Faker’s all-out domination.  Out of the last 10 encounters, Faker has won all of them and Jensen is yet to win a single match against the Korean Azir. Blast, a respected organizer known for hosting major tournaments for CS2, is going all-out on Valve’s other flagship—Dota 2. This comes several years after Blast was last seen hosting something Dota-related, and it may be a signal of bigger things to come. Blast announced its return to Valve’s flagship MOBA today, May 8, claiming it’s “shaking up the Dota 2 scene like a well-timed Earthshaker,” with an accompanying 15-second teaser on YouTube. Masters Shanghai is the second international event of the 2024 VCT season, celebrating VALORANT‘s long-awaited release there as well as the ongoing inaugural VCT China season. The format for Masters Shanghai significantly expands the amount of competition compared to Masters Madrid, with each of the four VCT regions sending three VALORANT teams instead of just two. The top three teams from the stage one playoffs in each league will have the honor of competing in Shanghai.
