The vampire survival APRG, V Rising, has finally arrived on Steam after being in early access for over two years.
V Rising 1.0 has plenty of new meaningful additions, with one of the most notable ones being the collaboration with Konami’s Castlevania franchise.
V Rising 1.0 was released to blazing reviews, and it continues to be an epic experience that lets you fulfill your vampire fantasies.
However, if you’re a console player, in particular an Xbox player, you could be wondering when V Rising will be available on Xbox. If that’s the case, you’re in the right place.
In this guide, we discuss all possibilities of an V Rising Xbox release and when it may be coming to Microsoft’s current-gen consoles.
V Rising Xbox release date
As of this writing, Stunlock Studios has yet to confirm whether V Rising will be coming to Xbox consoles. The only console this game is coming to is PS5, though a concrete release date has yet to be announced.
Interestingly enough, Wcftech recently interviewed Stunlock Studios and asked whether V Rising would be coming to Xbox or Nintendo Switch, to which the studio replied with the following:
“Never tell me the odds. Or ask me to tell you the odds. Our top priority right now is ensuring the success of our upcoming launches on PC and PS5. We must dedicate our full attention to optimizing these releases to their highest potential before considering any future endeavors.”
Does this mean V Rising would never come to Xbox consoles? Probably not, but you shouldn’t expect it to launch anytime soon either.
We feel like a V Rising Xbox version would be a great fit for Xbox Game Pass. Hence, if the game does eventually arrive on Xbox consoles, there’s a high chance it will probably launch directly on Xbox’s subscription service. A little consolation for a delayed release doesn’t hurt anyone, right?
That’s all we currently know about any V Rising Xbox version.
