Kuro Games’ latest action RPG has been making quite the noise in the anime gacha games community, especially due to its art style and gameplay, which is very reminiscent of Hoyoverse’s Genshin Impact.
Thankfully, after multiple closed beta tests, Wuthering Waves 1.0 is finally available on PC and mobile devices. But when is the Wuthering Waves PS5 release date?
Wuthering Waves PS5 release date — Is Wuthering Waves coming to PS5?
Yes, Wuthering Waves is coming to PS5 and PS4, according to a report from last year’s Unreal Fest event in Shangai.
As spotted by Twitter user kcamui__ and translated by wutheringshores, it seems Wuthering Waves is indeed coming to PS5 and PS4, alongside PC and mobile devices.
The translated report also claims that the graphics quality of Wuthering Waves’ PS5 version will be similar to the PC version’s ultra settings, whereas the PS4 version will have slightly higher visuals than the highest settings of the mobile version.
Wuthering Waves’ overseas marketing specialist Lennon Li also spoke to The Loadout at GDC, in which they confirmed that the game’s console version was being planned.
It’s worth mentioning that Li didn’t specify what console(s) Wuthering Waves would be released on, but if the report from the Shangai event is anything to go by, it’s likely PS5 and PS4.
Wuthering Waves is one of the most biggest gacha game releases of the year, with over 30 million pre-registrations across PC and mobile devices.
This number should significantly increase whenever Kuro Games decides to release Wuthering Waves on PlayStation consoles and give Hoyoverse’s Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail some tough competition.
