Originally named KAGE ~ Shadow of the Ninja, this game is a distinguished ninja-themed side-scrolling action game created by Natsume and released on August 10, 1990, for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It became a fan favorite due its precise controls, novel game mechanics encompassing hanging and climbing actions, meticulously crafted levels, and its highly energetic soundtrack.
