The animation promises to be a thrilling spectacle, featuring characters like Kiana Kaslana, Stelle (female Trailblazer), Elysia, and Firefly, among others. Shaoji and RJ teased that fans can expect a narrative filled with suspense, action, wonder, and explosive moments.
The collab’s exact nature remains a mystery. HoYoverse will announce further details in an announcement on September 19, 2024.
The event releases in Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.9, which is projected to launch sometime between late 2024 and early 2025.
Watch the preview video below:
HI3 is an action role-playing game and one of HoYoverse’s early successes, while HSR is a turn-based strategy RPG.
Although they share the name “Honkai,” the two games are not directly connected to each other in terms of their storylines. However, they do share common themes, elements, and even characters like Welt Yang.
In the past, HI3 collaborated with Genshin Impact, another HoYoverse title. This special event brought characters like Fischl and Keqing from Genshin Impact into the Honkai-corrupted world.
As part of the collab, Fischl became a permanent addition to the Honkai Impact 3rd roster, making her available to all players. Keqing, on the other hand, was introduced as an event-exclusive character, and was only obtainable during a specific time period.
