Fortnite Season 10 Is Coming Soon! Everything You Need To Know
Fortnite has taken the Internet by storm. Everyone plays it, and it’s beloved by people of all ages. Which is why it’s constantly being fueled with content and updates to keep users happy. As you may know, a change is about to take place in the game. Fortnite Battle Royale is on the verge of releasing its much-awaited season 10.
With this, you will be experiencing some new things like a new map, gameplay as well as a battle pass. We’ll be talking a little about this, and diving into it in detail.
When Will Fortnite Season 10 Start?
We don’t really know when the season will start, but we do know that they generally last around 10 weeks. If you do the math, it’s obvious that season 9 is about to come to an end. With this in mind, the new season would show up by the 1st of August.
While we wait for its arrival, Fortnite decided to host a global event, which happened to take place on the 20th of July. The event allowed us to witness a Robot vs Monster smackdown. The robot had to ward off the monster, using its mechanized suit to summon a special orb from the Loote Lake Vault that brought up a special sword. Not only was this amazing, but the battle itself gave us some clues as to what we can expect… more on that below.
What About The Season’s New Map?
Now that we have got the launch date out of the way, we’ll be discussing what season 10 will offer its excited players.
Let’s start off with the changes to the map, as this constantly changes per season.
As discussed, season 9 began with the robot warding off the monster. When the battle reached its end, the robot left behind the orb. This was quite strange, and it makes you think that this may have some significance, so much so that users on social media have been evaluating the orb, noting that it has constantly been changing its appearance since its arrival, and is seen to be ‘releasing glass shards’. You wouldn’t be the only one to assume that this may have something to do with the map in the upcoming season.
Now, let’s talk about the battle pass that comes with the new season.
The season 9 battle pass was 950 V bucks, the same amount that battle passes were worth in the past seasons. It’s safe to assume that the new season will stick to this price point as well.
With the pass, you will be given a starter pack alongside cosmetic skins. However, these are the basics. As you now have the battle pass in hand, you can use it to take part in challenges and earn rewards, further gaining skins.
So, what do you think about all of this? Does the Epic monster smackdown have anything to do with the new season? Even if it doesn’t, there’s still something that we do know: it’s going to be epic!
