Unlimited joins SK Gaming as assistant coach
There is no doubt that SK Gaming is one of the most popular. Therefore, if there are any changes that are happening to it, there is quite a bit of attention that is forthcoming. There is one such activity that is catching the attention of many people. It is about the joining of Petar “Unlimited” Georgiev with SK Gaming. This was certainly surprising news as it lead to SK Gaming heading into the Summer Split. He became the new assistant coach and this was announced by the team.
This Is His Second Homecoming
It would be pertinent to mention here that this will be the second stint of Unlimited with SK Gaming. He was already a support player for the famous German Team in 2016. This happened after their exit from LEC. However, this was short-lived and he left SK Gambling to join as sub for G2 Esports. After this, Unlimited suddenly announced his retirement from competitive playing. He then has become a full time head coach for Misfits Academy. He has done quite well there and since then he also has coached Vitality Academy and Excel Esports.
This Indeed Is A Big Shakeup
There have been talks about some major changes and shakeups as far as SK Gaming is concerned. The joining of Unlimited is perhaps one major change. A few weeks ago, there were quite a few staff changes in SK Gaming. The coach of the organization Fabian Sheepy Mallant was shown the door and in his place Andrei “Realistik” Ruse took charge. In fact this was a promotion for Andrei Ruse and he was only too happy and gleeful to accept this.
How Does It Impact The Team
The most obvious question that comes to the minds of the people is how these changes have impacted SK Gaming. There are reasons to believe that the changes have had a positive impact as far as SK Gaming is concerned. The team has made a solid return to the LEC and it has qualified for the Spring Playoffs. They did so after posting an impressive 9-9 record (9 wins in 9 matches). This was indeed a great comeback and the icing on the cake was being able to best FC Schalke 04 in a nail-biting tiebreaker.
There are many who believe that all these have been possible because of the recruitment of Unlimited and also a host of other such new comers and new hires. This is perhaps just the beginning of the good days for SK Gaming and there are many who believe that the team will reach newer heights of success during the Summer Split. There is a good chance that the team could better their second place finish first and relive the happy memories of spring 2014.

The Final Word
There are some changes to team that do bring in quite a bit of positivity not only in the overall skill levels. It also has a positive impact on the minds and hearts. This might have happened with the entry of Unlimited into the team. Though these are still early days, the way in which the team has started gelling as a unit, it seems that they have many other successes and triumphs coming their way in the none-too-distant future.
