Among all the collaborations Fortnite has had, Fortnite X Star Wars stands out as the most significant across all five chapters. This collaboration is a recurring event, bringing with it lightsabers, skins, and special challenges every year. Despite already featuring many of the franchise’s biggest characters, Epic has managed to introduce two more fan favorites this year.
Given the frequency of this collaboration, we have a good idea of what to expect. Epic has also been teasing some of the new content. Here’s what we know about Fortnite X Star Wars in Chapter 5.

New Skins in Fortnite X Star Wars
Skins are always a highlight of any in-game crossover. While most of the main characters from the franchise have been featured, Epic has saved a few for Chapter 5 Star Wars content.
The two new headline skins are Lando and Chewie. Lando, the ruler of Cloud City and a former ally of Han, and Chewie, the lovable Wookie who communicates through growls, will both be part of the new Fortnite X Star Wars crossover.

These skins are exciting additions to the current roster and it will be interesting to see them in-game.
In-Game Content Across All Modes
Epic has made it clear that Fortnite X Star Wars is not just for Battle Royale. We’re expecting new content for other game modes as well, such as Lego Fortnite.
With Lego Star Wars being a franchise of its own, it’s exciting to see it represented here. There will also be content for Fortnite Festival, as highlighted in the teaser image for Lando.
While we don’t know what songs will be featured in the Festival, it could be something fun from the series like Jedi Rocks, or perhaps some of John Williams’ iconic score. In Battle Royale, we’re definitely expecting the return of lightsabers, possibly with the force powers seen in newer collaborations, making them more interesting as Fortnite melee weapons.
