Over 100 players of the popular game Teamfight Tactics will be competing in the inaugural Inkborn Fables Set 11 Golden Spatula Cup. The winner will receive an invitation to the Rising Legends Finals.
Riot Games has made significant changes to the global TFT esports scene with the launch of Set 11. This includes renaming the World Championship and merging the NA, BR, and LATAM regions into a pan-region. However, for EMEA players, the structure of TFT organized play remains the same.
The pan-region now has seven seeds that lead to the Tactician’s Crown (previously known as Worlds). It will also feature three Cup tournaments (GSC) and a Pan-Regional Finals to determine who will represent the EMEA region at the Inkborn Fables Tactician’s Crown.
The first TFT Set 11 EMEA Golden Spatula Cup is scheduled to take place from April 26 to 28. It will feature 128 players from the EUW, EUNE, TR, and CIS regions. The winner of the tournament will receive a direct invitation to the Rising Legends Finals (Pan-Regional Finals).
Unlike the Americas pan-region, where broadcasts for the Tactician’s Cup tournaments were canceled, Rising Legends will host a broadcast for the EMEA GSC tournaments. This will be available through the official Teamfight Tactics Twitch channel, YouTube channel, and Lolesports.com.
The first GSC tournament will feature players who qualified through top placements on the Ranked ladder from individual regional servers, the GSC Open Qualifier, and TFT Regional tournaments called TRCs. The tournament will be conducted over three days, with the field of players being reduced each day.
All players competing at the TFT Set 11 GSC will earn Qualifier Points that can be used to earn an invitation to the Regional Finals. The top four will automatically be invited to GSC2, and the winner will receive one of the coveted Rising Legends Finals seeds.
