T1 vs FlyQuest in MSI 2024 set the record for the shortest international Bo3 in League of Legends history.
In honor of T1 demolishing FlyQuest in the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2024 Play-In Stage, here are some things that took more time than the T1 vs FlyQuest best-of-three (Bo3) in MSI 2024.

The official tally for the T1 vs FlyQuest Bo3 is 45 minutes and 31 seconds, making it the fastest international Bo3. With this win, T1 qualifies for the Bracket Stage of MSI 2024, while FlyQuest now awaits the winner of Estral Esports vs PSG Talon in the lower bracket.
The longest professional League of Legends game (LCK Spring 2018 SKT vs JAG Game 3)
The longest professional League of Legends game is the infamous SK Telecom T1 vs Jin Air Greenwings in LCK Spring 2018. This was a Bo3 in the regular season, and the first two games already outlasted T1 vs FlyQuest. Game 1 took over 46 minutes to end, and Game 2 took just about 6 minutes longer.
Game 3 however, was a 94-minute purgatory. That’s two T1 vs FlyQuest!
JAG walked away with the win in this game, earning them the series win as well. Despite being over an hour and a half long, the game only had a total of 24 kills. A total of 10 dragons were taken, and both teams had almost 180,000 gold.
The most talked-about aspect of this game, however, was JAG bot laner Park “Teddy” Jin-seong’s CS. He was playing Sivir and reached 1465 CS by the time the game ended.
The longest international League of Legends game (Worlds 2014 FNC vs OMG)
The longest-recorded international League of Legends game was Fnatic vs Oh My God in the Group Stage of Worlds 2014. This single game clocked in at 71 minutes and 34 seconds — way longer than the 45 minutes and 31 seconds of T1 vs FlyQuest.
Oh My God ended the game with 27 kills, 5 dragons, 3 Baron Nashors, and 122,700 gold. Their bot laner Guo “san” Jun-Liang had the highest CS in the game: 638.

A pilates session
The average pilates session lasts for about 45 minutes to an hour. Instead of keeping time with your phone, simply put T1 vs FlyQuest on. The second time T1 explodes FlyQuest’s nexus is your signal to wrap up your session.
This way, you exercise your body with the activity and your mind by watching T1’s superior piloting of their champions.
A consolation for FlyQuest
To be fair to FlyQuest, here’s a shoutout to the two shortest international games. Funnily enough, both of them involve T1.
SK Telecom T1 vs Invictus Gaming (MSI 2019)
In the MSI 2019 Group Stage, Invictus Gaming destroyed SK Telecom T1 at 15:57. Until now, this is the shortest recorded international game of professional League of Legends.
MAD Lions vs T1 game 3 (MSI 2023)
To top it all off is the game that birthed the memes. MAD Lions faced T1 in the bracket stage of last year’s MSI. It was a best-of-five (Bo5), and MAD was already down two; T1 sealed the deal with a 16:47 win.
The acceleration of the Jinx early into this game, combined with the Rift Herald that made short work of MAD towers, was integral in setting this record.

T1 vs FLY Game 1
As many expected, T1 came away with the win in this series. What was outside of their expectations was for this to be a record-breaking one.
Game 1 had mostly standard champions, save for the Graves pick for Inspired. They even got themselves a lead in the top lane after a successful dive. However, this lead was promptly nullified after T1 punished small mistakes from FlyQuest.
For the whole game, FlyQuest did not look cohesive. Their team had four ranged champions, and the fact that they did not look coordinated did not aid their composition one bit.
With the aid of the Rift Herald, T1 broke into their base and shattered FlyQuest’s nexus in 17 minutes and 31 seconds, marking this game as the third-fastest international professional League of Legends game in history.
T1 vs FLY game 2
Game 2 was no different. FlyQuest’s coordination problems were still evident, and Gumayusi’s Kalista got funneled kills and gold early. T1 found a lead and spent the whole game slowly growing and snowballing this lead.
This game may have lasted longer, but it wasn’t any less dominant from T1. At the end of the game, they were ahead by almost 17,000 gold.
This win qualifies T1 for the Bracket Stage, while FlyQuest must go through a do-or-die match against the winner of Estral Esports vs PSG Talon.
