Bandai Namco officially announced Bleach Rebirth of Souls, a brand new anime console game, during their Summer Showcase at Anime Expo on July 6, 2024.
The game promises exhilarating gameplay and a return of fan-favorite characters from the Bleach universe.
Bleach Rebirth of Souls is slated for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
What is Bleach Rebirth of Souls?
Bleach Rebirth of Souls throws you into the heart of the Soul Society for an intense fighting experience! Developed by Tamsoft, the team behind Melty Blood Type Lumina, this upcoming title promises to be a thrilling return to the Bleach universe.
The game revolves around intense sword-wielding combat. You’ll choose your favorite character from a roster that includes iconic heroes.
Here are the playable characters we’ve seen in the first trailer:
- Ichigo Kurosaki
- Rukia Kuchiki
- Uryu Ishida
- Yasutora Sado (Chad)
- Renji Abarai
- Byakuya Kuchiki
Each character boasts a unique fighting style and special abilities tied to their Zanpakuto. The Bleach console game is all about high-stakes battles.
According to Bandai Namco’s official website, players even have the potential to defeat their opponents with a single strike, which might not sound fair but is accurate to the manga and anime created by Tite Kubo.
The game could also feature mechanics that allow players to power up and potentially unlock new transformations or abilities as the fight progresses, giving you a chance to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
The game supports local multiplayer and online play of up to two players.
