Don’t let her charming looks and beautiful voice fool you — Zhuxin is a hero you don’t want to mess with on the battlefield.
She is the 125th hero to be released in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and was packaged as part of Project NEXT 2024.
Zhuxin is a mage hero capable of poking enemy heroes and dealing continuous magic damage over a large area. Her Lantern Flare ability allows her to deal damage from afar and pull enemies to a target location, making her a great team fight initiator.
Her ultimate, Crimson Beacon, is a powerful version of Alice‘s Blood Ode. She blinks to a target location and creates a field for six seconds, continuously dealing damage over a large area.
If you are facing her in your ranked games, there are a few heroes who can stop the Beacon of Spirits from blooming. In this ONE Esports guide, we list down three heroes who can stop her.
Best counters to Zhuxin in Mobile Legends
Saber
If you want to quickly eliminate Zhuxin in team fights, Saber is a great option.
His Orbiting Sword-Triple Sweep combo is all you need to take her down. You can also ensure a quick kill if you have the Execute battle spell.
Zhuxin becomes harder to eliminate in the mid to late game phase, so it’s essential to build offensive damage items on Saber, such as Sky Piercer, Malefic Roar, or even Blade of Despair. This almost always ensures a kill.
In team fights, don’t engage unless you have your Charge skill ready. Otherwise, Zhuxin can pin you down with Lantern Flare, making it difficult for you to contribute effectively.
Hayabusa
Hayabusa is another assassin hero with great mobility and damaging skills.
What makes Hayabusa a great hero against Zhuxin is his ability to quickly escape her Lantern Snare or Crimson Beacon using Ninjutsu: Quad Shadow.
If caught in crowd control, he can cast Ougi: Shadow Kill to become untargetable while dealing damage simultaneously.
Like Saber, it’s best to build Hayabusa with offensive items such as Sky Piercer and Blade of Heptaseas. It’s important to practice the hero before picking him in ranked matches, as he is a difficult hero to master and requires a few games to get a good grasp of his Ninjutsu: Quad Shadow.
Martis
While assassin heroes generally work well against Zhuxin, fighter heroes like Martis are also viable.
What makes Martis stand out is his crowd control immunity when using his second skill, Mortal Coil. This allows him to avoid Zhuxin’s Lantern Flare or Crimson Beacon.
He also has a burst skill in his ultimate, Decimation, which is perfect against Zhuxin’s tanky nature.
Since he already has innate damage with his burst, Martis can build a mix of offensive and defensive items. One good item against The Beacon of Spirits is Radiant Armor, as it mitigates her continuous damage. In general, any magic resistance item would work well.
