Understanding the SOOP Valorant League 2024
The SOOP Valorant League (SVL), previously known as the AfreecaTV Valorant League (AVL), is returning after undergoing a brand overhaul. The tournament will be held offline at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum in Seoul, South Korea, from the 10th to the 15th of December, 2024.
With a prize pool of US$80,000, the SVL will witness performances from eight prestigious teams, which include the VCT champion Sentinels, NRG, Gen.G Esports, DRX, Talon Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Made in Thailand, and Rapid Lofi.
The tournament structure includes a double-elimination group stage and a single-elimination playoff bracket, concluding in a best-of-five grand finale.
Broadcasts of the SVL will be available on SOOP in English, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and Mandarin.
