A true gamer that has been crazy about games and gaming for over 10 years. My main interests are PS5, VR and AR Games as well as general gaming.

Bangalore and Bloodhound formed one of Apex Legends‘ simplest and most effective synergies: Bangalore blocked vision with her smoke, and Bloodhound’s ultimate allowed them to see through that smoke. But following changes to both characters with massive implications for their playstyle, ALGS players could turn to an old favorite—Seer. In the patch notes for Apex‘s Double Take event, the legend balance changes noted alterations to Bangalore and Bloodhound that change fundamental aspects of their ability kits both have had since the early days of Apex. Enemies inside of Bangalore’s smokes will now show as white outlines to other players also…

Immensely popular streamer Amouranth may be the face of Twitch’s “hot tub stream” niche, but she’s been gradually pivoting away from more openly sexual content. Part of that image reinvention is a series of non-Twitch investments, the latest of which has shocked fans. As announced today on X (formerly Twitter) by Austin-based Wildcard Gaming, Amouranth has purchased a stake in the company, making her a part-owner in the venerable esports organization. This makes her more of a shareholder than anything, meaning she isn’t going to suddenly start playing Counter-Strike 2 herself, which is sure to break the hearts of her…

Riot Games is drastically changing the rulebook before the first VALORANT Champions Tour season featuring promoted Ascension teams has ended. The publisher is offering teams who qualify through Challengers and perform at a high level a chance to stay in the VCT international leagues. The new rules, which go into effect in 2025, reduce the promotion length for Ascension teams in VCT from two years to one year. But instead of getting automatically relegated at the end of their term, teams can stay in the league or earn an automatic spot in the Ascension tournament if they perform well enough…

Over the last month, there’s been plenty of controversy surrounding Riot Games’ decision to make an overpriced League of Legends skin to celebrate the career of esports legend Faker—but not even the 28-year-old superstar is using the skin on stage. In T1’s fourth series of the 2024 LCK Summer Split, Faker locked in Ahri as his champion of choice against Kwangdong Freecs, much to the surprise of the viewers and broadcast team. Hilariously enough, however, Faker and the rest of T1 loaded into the second game of the day, only to be seen using the base Ahri skin instead of…

Fans opening Counter-Strike 2 cases are a common sight at competitive tournaments. But in a surprising twist, Cloud9’s Mang0 opened one at Super Smash Bros. Melee Tipped Off 15. On June 16, the 32-year-old legend took to the stage at Tipped Off 15 in Marietta, Georgia for yet another Smash tournament semifinal in his career. While he was walking past the crowd, a fan asked him to open a CS2 case. Mang0 did so without hesitation and failed loot anything valuable, but that was the last time he’d be unsuccessful for the tournament. It’s tough to see which specific case…

The tumultuous and unpredictable journey of G2 Esports in Counter-Strike 2 has taken another fascinating turn as the team has decided to bench one of its starters just weeks after claiming its first CS2 trophy at IEM Dallas. G2 has moved Serbian player Nemanja “nexa” Isaković to the inactive roster, the organization announced today. Nexa, who previously played with G2 from late 2019 through the beginning of 2022, returned for a second stint with the club this past November. No more good vibes… jokes aside on the bench as of today in @G2esports. Thank you for the last 6 months,…

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is still months away from its global release, but one of the featured new mechanics is already on the competitive chopping block. According to a clip from Toronto Ultra player Thomas “Scrap” Ernst’s stream, the new “omnimovement” system set to feature prominently in the upcoming Call of Duty release could end up on the Gentlemen’s Agreement list in pro play. This means that while it would be in the game, pro players would effectively agree not to use it. Scrap on pros GA’ing new Black Ops 6 movement and always GA’ing ‘fun’ stuff!🗣️ “it’s…

Some of the biggest changes to the VALORANT meta—via a combination of drastic balance tweaks to the duelist class and a new active map pool—are coming to the game’s highest competitive tier, but not all at once. The VALORANT Champions Tour Americas League confirmed today that stage two, with the all-important Champions-determining playoffs later on, will resume on Patch 8.11. The buffed Iso and Neon, the balanced Reyna, and the satchel movement nerfed Raze will all be playable from the first match onwards. But while the map pool is also changing to start stage two, the newest map Abyss will…
