Haaland is taking over!
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland is now a part of Clash of Clans as the latest Barbarian King skin. This new addition brings a series of challenges and even a chance to raid Haaland’s village.
Haaland, who has been playing for over ten years, is excited to be a part of Clash of Clans. He is the first real-life person to be featured in the game.
Haaland’s Complete Takeover
Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker, is a known fan of Clash of Clans. He has expressed his love for the game in several interviews.
“I was about 10 when I found Clash. My friends and I started playing — we’ve had a lot of fun.”
This partnership, dubbed by Clash of Clans as a “complete Haaland takeover,” includes more than just the Barbarian King skin. The May season will feature limited-time challenges where players can raid Haaland’s own village. Successful raids will earn players magic items, ores, and a place on the leaderboard.
In addition to Haaland’s Barbarian King skin, players can also acquire unique skins for their troops and a football-themed scenery for their home village.
Acquiring the Erling Haaland Barbarian King skin
The Haaland Barbarian King skin can likely be unlocked by purchasing May’s Gold Pass. This premium reward track works similarly to other games like Fortnite’s Battle Pass. Regular gameplay and completion of Gold Pass challenges will unlock additional rewards, including Haaland’s Barbarian King skin.
The Clash of Clans Gold Pass usually costs $6.99 USD and can be purchased in the in-game shop or directly from Supercell’s store. To unlock the Erling Haaland Barbarian King skin, simply buy the pass anytime between May 1 and May 31.
