Zellsis joins the Team Singularity CS:GO roster
Team Singularity has announced they’ve signed Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro to their Counter Strike: Global Offensive roster. The 21-year old American Zellsis, recently of the Swole Patrol roster, hasn’t seen much success as of late. However, he joins a promising Team Singularity roster who defeated Zellsis’ Swole Patrol roster at WESG 2018 USA. Although a Danish-based organization, Team Singularity now rosters five Americans along with a British Head Coach.
The current Team Singularity CS:GO roster:
-
Michael “dapr” Gulino
-
Skyler “Relyks” Weaver
-
Sebastian “seb” Bucki
-
Will “dazzLe” Loafman
-
Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro
-
Ian “Immi” Harding (Head Coach)
Team Singularity finalizes their roster
After a rocky October where they parted ways with three players, wrath, cam, and Shakezullah, they get back on track in November with the Zellsis signing. While Team Singularity wanted to sign Zellsis back in October for the second stage of the ESL Pro League, they were unable to due to restrictions. Zellsis had competed under another roster for stage one, making him ineligible to join another team.
Without Zellsis on the roster, Team Singularity lost every match they played and were eliminated from stage 2 of the Pro League. However, with no barriers in place, they were finally free to sign Zellsis to their starting roster. Here’s what Zellsis had to say about the move:
“I’m very excited to be joining Singularity! After playing with the team in Winners League and other things, I am glad to be able to work with this group of guys for the future. I have known these players for a long time and being able to be on the same side of the server all together will be a great experience.”
Team Singularity are obviously excited about the signing, as they’ve had their eyes set on Zellsis for quite some time. Although the former Singularity roster didn’t have much success, the hope is Zellsis can be the final piece to bring home some high placements. Here’s what Singularity CEO, Atle S. Stehouwer, said about Zellsis:
“I’m happy that our paths one year later will finally cross and we’ll be able to work together. I hope we can help Zellsis unfold his full potential, and support him to thrive in our framework.”
Team Singularity is currently competing in WINNERS League Season 3. You can keep up to date with all of the team’s information on their website or on Twitter.
