This feature is entirely free, so it’s common to see players with identical tags, which may signify their pro team or casual gaming group.

So far, free clan tags are restricted to letters and symbols. However, a new crown emblem tag has shown up in the game that cannot be duplicated with symbols.
Steps to get the BO6 clan Crown tag
The Crown Clag can be obtained by purchasing the premium version of the Season 1 BlackCell Premium Battle Pass.
The Season 1 BlackCell battle pass comes with a plethora of exciting items and cosmetics, including weapon blueprints, 20 free Battle Pass tokens, Operator skins, and more. But, all attention is on the Crown Clag, which is essentially a profile banner to boast about your premium status.
Here’s how to get this tag:
- Upgrade your battle pass.
- Go to the Barracks tab at the top of the menu and then select the Customize option.
- Click on the Profile option and scroll down to the Clan Tag section.
- Pick the option to equip the Crown Clan Tag.
- Go back to the main menu, and the Crown Clan Tag will now be displayed next to your username.
This tag will be displayed next to your username in the lobby, game end, and MVP screen as well. The small golden crown is not just visually appealing, but also an easy way to flaunt your expensive battle pass in-game.
If you prefer to use your team’s clan tag, you can always remove the Crown Clan tag at any time by following the same steps as above.
