G2 Esports has announced its G2 LoL team for 2025, indicating a significant redeployment of its League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) roster.
The LEC titan has formally recruited jungler Rudy “SkewMond” Semaan and support Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis to succeed the slots vacated by Martin “Yike” Sundelin and Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle.
Joining top laner Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik, mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther, and bot laner Steven “Hans Sama” Liv, are SkewMond and Labrov, completing the G2 LoL team for 2025.

SkewMond has earned recognition by assisting Team BDS Academy in securing victories at EMEA Masters 2024 Summer and the French League (LFL) 2024 Summer Playoffs. He will make his LEC first appearance at the LEC Winter 2025 in January.
Moreover, Labrov has also joined G2 Esports in 2025 as their support player. Known for his proficiency with hook characters like Nautilus, Alistar, and Thresh, Labrov has previously competed in the LEC with Team Vitality and Team BDS. His continuous playoff appearances in 2024, including Winter, Spring, and Summer, demonstrate his potential and athleticism.
With Labrov’s and SkewMond’s signings, G2 Esports has officially disbanded its highly successful team, which included BrokenBlade, Yike, Caps, Hans Sama, and Mikyx. This intimidating team, formed in 2023, reigned over the LEC for two years, achieving four successive championships at LEC Winter, Spring, Summer, and Season Finals in 2024.
Prior to the G2 LoL 2025 roster being officially presented at LEC Winter 2025, enthusiasts can watch them play at the Red Bull League of Its Own 2024 exhibition match against T1. The event will take place at the Accor Arena in Paris, France on December 15, 2024.
