Silvanna is amongst the most adaptable heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. She stands out with her ability to adapt to various roles thanks to her mixed physical and magical attack skills.
She possesses a formidable crowd-control skill, Cometic Spear, which coupled with her ultimate ability, Imperial Justice, brands her a strong initiator. On top of that, Spiral Strangling gives her the ability to deal AoE damage and heal herself for each enemy hit, providing dependable damage output and sustainability.
So, it’s not shocking that most players tend to opt for the battle spell Purify to break free from her relentless grip when up against this potent warrior-mage.
However, there are heroes who can still counteract her presence on the battlefield sans this battle spell. These characters exploit her susceptibility to burst damage and penalize her greatly for poor positioning.
Top Three heroes to counter Silvanna
Kadita
When Silvanna is your adversary on the battlefield, one of the finest characters to choose is Kadita, a Mage. Kadita not only has a high burst damage capability, but she can also skillfully dodge and launch attacks.
What gives the Ocean Goddess an edge here is her first ability, Ocean Oddity. It not only provides her immunity but also equips her to dodge the enemy’s crowd control attacks, especially Silvanna’s ultimate, Imperial Justice, which happens to be one of her biggest strengths.
Furthermore, Kadita’s second skill, Breath of the Ocean, delivers significant AoE magic damage. This can quickly reduce the health bar of the warrior-mage, especially as she tends to be susceptible to burst damage.
This damage capability is amplified by Kadita’s ultimate, Rough Waves, which can inflict enormous damage over time on enemies within its range.
Akai
Akai’s ultimate skill, Heavy Spin, is one of the main reasons to consider him as a contender to counter Silvanna. This skill gives you control over enemy movements around you, a tactic effective against this warrior-mage who shines in close combat.
By employing your ultimate, you can disrupt her and disarm her, even if she lands the Imperial Justice ultimate on you.
Akai’s durability also makes him a strong competitor against Silvanna. The Tai Chi passive provides a shield equal to a portion of your HP when you cast a skill.
Your initial skill, Headbutt, allows him to launch into the battle and knock his opponent airborne. Body Slam, on the other hand, gives you the capacity to inflict damage and slow her down.
This blend of damage and light crowd control can greatly hinder the enemy’s performance in team battles.
Diggie
Diggie would be the one to go for if you’re looking to counter Silvanna with a support character.
Diggie’s ultimate skill, Time Journey, gives him and his nearby allies a short period of immunity against crowd control effects, effectively neutralizing the effects of Silvanna’s ultimate Imperial Knightess.
While playing as Diggie, your Time Bomb ability lets you zone out enemies and upset enemy positioning. This can be extremely helpful against Silvanna, who typically needs to get close to her opposing forces to maximize her damage output.
In addition, your second skill, Reverse Time, can stagnate her, making it more difficult for her to involve or disengage herself from confrontations. This gives you and your team allies more control over the rhythm and positioning of battles, further reducing the inflow of the rival hero.
